Welcome to Lucky Dog Bakery, your pet will be so happy you found us. What started as a small venture in 2012 has grown into a specialty bakery that brings joy to pets and their owners.

Jennifer, our founder, spent 25 years as a music teacher before finding her way to the world of dog care. After her daughters moved out, she became an "empty nester" and adopted a Boston terrier-pitbull mix, which sparked her interest in dog training and the local pet community. When an opportunity to open a storefront arose, she embraced it, and while baking wasn’t part of the original plan, it became clear that’s exactly what our customers wanted.

We began with a small store, small budget and simple ideas but quickly realized people were looking for unique, meaningful treats for their pets—whether to celebrate birthdays, "gotcha days," or just everyday moments. Over time, we connected with a mentor and built Lucky Dog Bakery into the heart of our business, now reaching other independent stores in all 50 states, including Hawaii and Alaska.

At Lucky Dog Bakery, our focus is on creating treats that dogs genuinely love. It’s not just about making cute cookies; it’s about crafting something that dogs truly enjoy. Our store has become more than a place to buy treats—it’s a community space where we’ve formed relationships with pet owners over the years. Many of our customers have been with us for over a decade, and we’ve shared in both the joyful and bittersweet moments of their dogs’ lives. We’ve even had dogs "visit" the store when they’ve gotten loose from home, knowing this is a safe and welcoming place for them.

Jennifer’s dedication to animals, education, and fostering a positive, stress-free environment has shaped our approach to business. We believe in supporting the pet community with thoughtful care.Our goal is to provide high-quality, delightful treats while ensuring that our store remains a space of peace and connection for both pets and their humans.
